SHOW NOTES (www.mikejamesreid.com)

Reed Goossens moved to the U.S. in 2012 to pursue a career in structural engineering. However, he soon discovered a passion for real estate investing. With limited funds and no credit, Reed went from purchasing a small duplex to growing his own real estate investment firm, RSN Property Group.

Reed is also the host of the podcast Investing in the U.S: An Aussie’s Guide to U.S. Real Estate, where he invites distinguished real estate investors and entrepreneurs to share their insights and help guide international investors who want to enter the U.S market.

In this episode, Reed explains his experience navigating the dichotomy of priorities versus goals, and how his pillars in life have helped guide his decision making. He also talks about being on the court playing the game of business versus sitting on the sidelines, and how you can spend more time on the court. Enjoy!

Highlights:

  • Why going all in on something and burning the boats is the key to leading a great life
  • Being on the court versus being on the sidelines
  • Why feeling squeezed and under pressure is a necessary part of success
