SHOW NOTES (www.mikejamesreid.com)
Dom McKenna first started out as a corporate lawyer. After graduating from law school and working in the corporate world, Dom realised that the idea of working for 20 years to ‘maybe’ make partner was not the route he wanted to take.
Less than a year into his law career, Dom quit his job and became a self-employed entrepreneur in the marketing industry. Over the last seven years, Dom has co-authored an Amazon #1 Best Selling Book called Defining Moments Of Courage and founded a youth program called TeamMak Youth Camp. TeamMak Youth Camp has hosted over 1,500 young adults ranging from ages 16 to 26 and now has franchises throughout Australia and New Zealand.
In this episode, Dom reveals the remarkable story of how he turned his life around and the surprising person who was responsible for his mindset shift. Dom also talks about passive income and the dichotomy of selling and growing a business while trying to achieve balance. Dom also explains the different masks that people wear in business and life and reveals the books that have had the biggest impact on his life. Enjoy!
